May agar aik pal ko yeah sochon
Kay meray gird ka yeah ghubar
Kub thamay aur kub rukay
Kay meri nazar kay meri sooch
Woh sub dekhay woh sub sochay
Jo mairee raah-e-nazar ko
Wusa'at bayhad day
Jo meray qadam-e-bay jaan ko
Itnee to himmat day
Aur meray jism- bayhis ko
Itnee hararat day
Kay may is gard say uthoon
Usay khair baad to keh doon
Aur phir kuch hee qadam agay
Aisee jagah puhanchu
Kay phir may kuch naya soocho
Kay phir may kuch naya dekhoon
